Laser Modules & Types
The laser module is the core component of any LaserSharp® laser processing system, which will cut, kiss-cut, score, perforate, and etch a variety of materials. LasX offers both a Laser Down-web Module (LDM) and Laser Processing Module (LPM). Depending on application, one or multiple CO₂, Fiber, or UV laser modules are incorporated into a laser converting system and a variety of options can be added including material handling and vision systems to uniquely customize the equipment.

WorkStation XY
This versatile laser digital converting system combines a steered beam laser with an accurate XY positioning system, creating a new standard for high speed performance in a smaller footprint than traditional laser gantry tables. Add a fixed beam laser for the flexibility to process thicker materials with precision. The WorkStation XY also accommodates large format materials up to 1220 mm by 1220 mm, ideal for membrane switch components, graphic overlays, flexible circuits, point-of-purchase displays, folding cartons, and more.

Spider STP
This Spider STP is an on-demand sheet-to-part finishing system that combines precision laser processing with the added productivity of robotic integration. The Spider STP processes in a job queue format with barcode registration for efficiency and on-the-fly processing capabilities. Finished pieces are automatically stacked, sorted, or shingled at high production speeds using robotic technology. This system is suitable for paper materials including greeting cards, retail signage, direct mail, personalized stationery, and more.

LPM Flex Series
The LPM Flex Series increases processing options with the ability to automatically adjust the processing area of view between sizes ranging from 140 mm to 600 mm to adapt to different processing applications. Ideal for easy-open and breathable flexible packaging applications, this roll-to-roll system achieves precision scoring and microperforating in both the down web and cross web directions. Auto-focusing capabilities offer a reliable beam spot size and transitioning from varying fields of view is simple and fast.
