Privacy Policy

Effective October 2, 2026

This policy describes how LasX Industries, Inc. (“LasX,” “we,” “us”) collects and uses information on lasx.com. It applies to this website only, not to information we receive through commercial relationships, which is governed by the agreements covering those relationships.

What we collect

Information you submit. Our inquiry forms ask for business contact details (name, work email, company, phone) and information about your project — such as material, application, volumes, timeline, or equipment serial number — so the right team can respond usefully. Submitting a form, asking a question of the site assistant and talking to the voice assistant are the only ways this site collects information you give us. We do not offer accounts and do not collect payment information.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages visited, approximate location, device type), which relies on cookies or similar identifiers. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (IP address, pages requested) for security and operations.

How we use it

To respond to your inquiry, prepare quotations and feasibility evaluations you request, provide service and support for equipment you own, and follow up on those conversations. An AI service (Anthropic) reads each inquiry so it can be classified and routed to the right team, and to fill in missing company details, which may include a public web search on your company’s website domain. We use analytics data to improve the site. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your information for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

Service providers who operate the site on our behalf: Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery of form submissions), monday.com (the customer-relationship system where we record inquiries), Google (analytics), Anthropic (the AI model behind the site assistant and our review of inquiries), and ElevenLabs (the voice assistant, including the AI models it uses to understand and summarize the conversation). Each processes information only to provide its service. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger or asset sale.

Site assistant

Ask LasX is an AI assistant that answers questions from the content of this website and points you to the right page or inquiry form. If you ask for a quote or a material trial, it can fill in the inquiry form for you from the conversation, including your name, company and work email if you give them. What you type is sent to Anthropic to generate the reply. The text of your questions and of the assistant’s replies is kept in our hosting logs, with your email addresses and phone numbers removed, so we can see what visitors are looking for, check the answers they get, and improve the site. Nothing reaches our team until you check the filled-in form and submit it; when you do, the conversation is sent with it so the laser expert who replies has the context. AI answers can be wrong, so confirm anything that matters with our team.

Voice assistant

Talk to LasX is an AI voice assistant on our contact page. It asks what you need and how to reach you, and passes that to our team so one of our laser experts can reply. It does not answer product questions.

When you use it, the conversation is recorded. Your voice is sent to ElevenLabs, which runs the assistant, and is turned into text there. We keep the audio recording and the written transcript for 30 days, so we can check a detail we may have misheard and improve the assistant. A summary of the conversation, the transcript, and the name, company, email address and phone number you give are saved in our customer-relationship system and handled like any other inquiry.

Your browser asks for permission before the microphone is used, and you can end the conversation at any time. If you would rather not be recorded, use the inquiry form or email sales@lasx.com instead. The assistant can mishear, so a laser expert may confirm details with you when they reply.

Confidential material

Please do not submit trade secrets or confidential technical details through the website forms, the site assistant or the voice assistant. Material feasibility work is conducted under a confidentiality agreement — the form starts that conversation, and an NDA is put in place before confidential information or physical material is exchanged.

Retention and security

We keep inquiry submissions for as long as needed to handle the inquiry and maintain the business relationship, and we use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect them. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices and rights

You can browse the site without submitting any form. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Depending on where you live — including the EU/EEA and certain U.S. states — you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. To exercise them, contact us using the details below and we will respond as applicable law requires. For visitors in the EU/EEA: we process inquiry data to take steps you request prior to entering a contract and on our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries; data is processed in the United States.

Children

This site is for business audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy, we will post the revised version here with a new effective date. Questions or requests: sales@lasx.com or LasX Industries, Inc., 4444 Centerville Road, Suite 170, St. Paul, MN 55127, USA.
