Scoreline™
Scoreline is the LasX easy-open module for bag and pouch production. It mounts on the pouch-making machine you already run and scores both faces of the folded web in one pass — registered laser scores and tear features at line speed, so the finished pouch opens where the design says it should — without mechanical scoring tools, and without replacing the line.
Scoreline does easy-open scoring on a pouch-making machine and nothing else. Down-web scoring, perforation and shaped features on a 600 to 1,800 mm web run on FocusPro™.

Dual-side scoring in one pass
Processes both sides of the web in a single operation, so aligned or offset scores land where the design says — a registration that pre-process scoring on a slitter cannot match.
Registered to the print
The tear starts where the graphics say it should, every pack, because the score is placed against the printed image rather than against the web edge.
Fits the line you already have
Integrates into indexed and continuous pouch making, new build or retrofit, without extending machine length — no line layout change, no throughput given up.
Holds through stops and starts
Proton λ control adjusts laser output in real time, so score depth stays consistent through the stops, starts and speed changes that pouch making runs on.
Recyclable and mono-material structures
Scores across nearly any film structure, including PP, PE, PET and the recyclable and mono-material formats converters are moving to.

Scoreline is an easy-open scoring module for pouch-making lines. It mounts on the host machine and is matched to its web width, to 840 mm. As standard, two LaserSharp® modules ride one carriage, one above the folded web and one below, so both walls of the pouch carry an aligned tear line from a single pass; a single-module configuration scores one face where the pouch design calls for it. The carriage travels 800 mm across the web and 500 mm in the machine direction, so the score lands where the design needs it without touching the host. Scoring is all it does. A converter who needs multi-module scoring, perforation or contour cutting on a wider web buys FocusPro — that is a machine, and a different purchase rather than an upgrade.
Easy-open is now expected on a pouch. Scoreline exists so that expectation does not require a new machine to meet.

What is Scoreline for?
